The Caddo is well known for its Large and Smallmouth bass. It has been named as one of the best Smallmouth Rivers in Arkansas. Other common catches include Blue and Channel Catfish, Brim, Crappie, White Bass, and occasionally even Walleye are spotted. Ron can tell you what sections of the river have what, and good places to fish. The only thing that he asks you keep in mind is that all Smallmouth under 12 inches need to be put back. A limit of two (2) over 12 inches can be kept, but catch and release the rest.

Ron is an active member of the American Canoe Association, Arkansas Stream Team, and Arkansas Canoe Club. He would like to help ensure that the river remains a viable fishing paradise for years to come. Ron is also an avid angler himself, growing up in Northern Ontario, Canada. He can give you a few tips on what the fish may be looking for.
Scott and Matt are here from California on their annual fishing trip. Nice catch!
